HANGZHOU, April 22 (Xinhua) -- Five people were killed in a fire at a farmhouse in east China's Zhejiang Province early Saturday morning, local authorities said.
The fire broke out around 4:30 a.m. in Lingjiawu Village in Xiaoshan District of Hangzhou, capital of the province and was put out one hour later, according to the publicity department of the district.
Five people were severely injured in the fire and later died in hospital.
The cause of the fire is being investigated.
