VIENTIANE, April 4 (Xinhua) -- Lao Prime Minister Thongloun Sisoulith sent a message of condolence to the government of the Russian Federation on Tuesday after a recent bomb explosion in the subway in St. Petersburg.
On behalf of the government and the people, Thongloun expressed deep condolences and sympathy to the Russian government and people as well as to the bereaved families of the victims affected by the brutal attack and act of cruelty for which there is no justification, according to the Lao News Agency (KPL).
The prime minister strongly condemns the terrorist attack and stands side by side in solidarity with the Russian Federation to cooperate with the international community in the fight against any form of terrorism and violence.
The subway explosion in the Russian city of St. Petersburg killed at least 14 people and wounded dozens of others on Monday. Enditem
