HO CHI MINH CITY, April 3 (Xinhua) -- Vietnam is holding Miss Ocean Vietnam 2017's qualifying rounds in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi capital this month.
Contestants at the semifinals in early September, and at the finals on October 27 in Phan Thiet City, Binh Thuan province will show their physical and spiritual beauties at the three events of talent, swimsuit, and question-and-answer sessions, its organizers said Monday.
They will also participate in various social activities to encourage Vietnamese people, particularly youths, to protect the environment and promote the country's sea tourism.
Women from Vietnam in the age bracket of 18-35, with the height of 1.65 meters or more, and with the educational background of at least high school graduates are qualified for the beauty pageant.
A veteran U.S. stylist will be in charge of helping the contestants. Enditem
