TEHRAN, March 11 (Xinhua) -- The second airbus passenger plane, purchased from the French company following the removal of western sanctions against the Islamic republic, landed in the capital Tehran on Saturday.
The Airbus A330 landed at Mehrabad International Airport on Saturday morning, official IRNA news agency reported.
On Jan, 12, first Airbus A321 plane, as Iran's first brand-new plane in over 37 years, had landed in Tehran.
The delivery of the planes takes place within a batch of 100 jets purchased by Iran Air recently to renew its aged passenger fleet.
