SINGAPORE, March 6 (Xinhua) -- Singapore stocks finished lower on Monday, with the benchmark Straits Times Index (STI) down 0.83 points, or 0.03 percent, to close at 3,121.51.
A total of 2.64 billion shares changed hands with turnover of 1.08 billion Singapore dollars (764 million U.S. dollars).
Decliners outnumbered gainers 256 to 234.
The STI index lost 14.14 points, or 0.45 percent, to close at 3,122.34 on March 3.
