SAPPORO, Japan, Feb. 25 (Xinhua) -- Kazakhstan took gold and silver in the mixed relay at the biathlon competition of the Asian Winter Games here on Saturday.
The country's Team 1, anchored by Yan Savitskiy Yan, posted the winning time of one hour, 15 minutes and 54.5 seconds in the event that featured women's 2x6km and men's 2x7.5km.
Team 2, spearheaded by Alina Raikova, clocked 1:15.54.5 for the silver, while Japan took the bronze.
