Knicks stun Spurs 94-90

WASHINGTON, Feb. 12 (Xinhua) -- Carmelo Anthony scored 25 points as the New York Knicks beat the San Antonio Spurs 94-90 on Sunday, ending their four-game losing streak.

"I think the trust came out tonight," Knicks head coach Jeff Hornacek said of the team's effort on the defensive end. The Spurs shot a season-low 36.3 percent from the field and made six of their 29 attempts from beyond the arc.

With his 25-point performance, Carmelo Anthony moved ahead of Charles Barkley for 25th on the NBA's all-time scoring list. He surpassed Barkley on a three-pointer with 8:55 left in the third quarter. Kristaps Porzingis and Derrick Rose scored 16 and 18 points apiece. Willy Hernangomez finished with 12 points and 9 rebounds for the Knicks.

Kawhi Leonard scored a game-high 36 points for the Spurs, who snapped their two-game winning streak. LaMarcus Aldridge had 15 points and 10 rebounds on 5-of-16 shooting. Danny Green shot 2-of-13 and struggled with six points. Tony Parker finished with zero points and four assists in 31 minutes on the floor.
