ISTANBUL, Jan. 5 (Xinhua) -- An explosion in Turkey's western city of Izmir wounded at least three people on Thursday, local media reported.
Dogan news agency said one "terrorist" was killed and at least three others injured in the bast near a courthouse.
CNN Turk quoted eyewitnesses as saying that security forces are exchanging gunfire with two "terrorists," and that the fighting is still going on.
