KIEV, Dec. 7 (Xinhua) -- At least 10 foreigners were injured during the clashes between football fans in the centre of the Ukrainian capital on Tuesday, the National Police said in a statement Wednesday.
The brawling took place before and after the Champions League match between Dynamo Kiev and Turkey's Besiktas near the Olympic stadium, the venue of the game.
According to the statement, two of the victims are suffering from cut wounds, while eight others have bruises.
The injured fans, who have already received medical treatment, had rejected to file a report to the police, the statement said, without revealing citizenship of the foreigners.
The game ended with a 6-0 win for Dynamo, leaving the Turkish side out of the Champions League campaign. The Ukrainian team lost the chance to advance prior to the match.
