NEW YORK, Nov. 24 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake measuring 7.2 on the Richter scale jolted 153 km SSW of Puerto El Triunfo, El Salvador, the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) said on Thursday.
The epicenter, with a depth of 33.0 km, was initially determined to be at 11.945 degrees north latitude and 88.911 degrees west longitude.
