RIYADH, Oct. 7 (Xinhua) -- Saudi health ministry will allow seasonal flu vaccination at pharmacies to control the spread of influenza A (H1N1) virus, local newspaper Okaz reported on Friday.
The move is part of the ministry's campaign as a rise in flu cases is expected in the coming period.
Pharmacists, even those working in small pharmacies in neighborhood, will be trained to give the vaccine shots to people, the report said.
The ministry said the prevention methods aim to protect those who could develop complications such as chronic diseases, the report added.
