BEIJING, June 28 (Xinhua) -- A total of 109 delegates were elected to attend the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China (CPC) at a two-day party conference ended Wednesday.
They were elected at a conference of the agencies directly under the CPC Central Committee.
The delegates include leading cadres, female party members and party members from ethnic minorities.
The 19th CPC National Congress, a major event in the political life of the Party and the state, will be held in Beijing in the second half of 2017.
A total of 2,300 delegates will be elected by 40 electoral units from across the country.
