BUENOS AIRES, April 16 (Xinhua) -- Colombian striker Rafael Borre scored two goals and set up another as River Plate extended their unbeaten run to seven matches with a 5-0 win at Central Cordoba in Argentina's Primera Division on Friday.

Borre side-footed home after a Julian Alvarez cross and he doubled his tally by running onto a long Hector Martinez pass before firing a shot past Alejandro Sanchez.

The 25-year-old has now scored seven goals in 10 league appearances this season.

Fabricio Angileri, Jose Paradela and Federico Girotti were also on target as River secured their fifth win of the campaign.

Marcelo Gallardo's men remain second in the 13-team Group B standings, two points behind Colon, who have a game in hand. Central Cordoba are eighth, seven points off the pace.

In other matches on Friday, Talleres de Cordoba won 3-0 at home to Union Santa Fe, Rosario Centra prevailed 1-0 at Aldosivi and Velez Sarsfield secured a 2-0 home victory over Huracan. Enditem
