Zhejiang eases past Tianjin in CBA

ZHUJI, China, Jan. 24 (Xinhua) -- With six players scoring double digits, the Zhejiang Lions trounced the Tianjin Pioneers 133-109 in the CBA here on Sunday.

Zhao Yanhao led Zhejiang with 24 points, Miroslav Radulica finished with a triple-double of 23 points, 12 rebounds and 10 assists, while Sun Minghui added 17 points.

For Tianjin, Meng Zikai scored a game-high 27 points, Lin Tingqian contributed 18 points and six assists.

The Lions led by nine points in the opening minutes but the Pioneers took the lead with a 16-3 run after Lin Tingqian made both free throws to make it 29-25 with 1:46 left.

Zhejiang then answered with an 8-3 run as Sun Minghui's three-point play gave the Lions a 33-32 lead in the first quarter.

The Lions widened the gap to 15 points after Zhu Junlong delivered a pass to Radulica for a dunk early in the second quarter and led 69-51 at the break.

Trailing by 18 points, Tianjin made 12 of 17 attempts from the floor but was still unable to narrow the gap to within 10 points, and Zhejiang led 95-81 going into the last period.

The Lions extended its lead to 20 points after Radulica drove in for a layup to make it 103-83 with 10:32 on the clock and closed out the win from there. Enditem
