CHANGCHUN, Jan. 24 (Xinhua) -- Northeast China's Jilin Province on Saturday reported 12 new confirmed COVID-19 cases and 29 new asymptomatic infections, the provincial health commission said Sunday.
Of the new confirmed cases, eight were reported in the provincial capital Changchun, two in Tonghua City, and two in Songyuan City.
Of the new asymptomatic cases, 19 were reported in Tonghua and 10 in Changchun.
All the above-mentioned cases are in designated medical institutions for treatment and observation.
As of Saturday, a total of 206 confirmed cases had been reported in the province in the latest round of infection since mid-January. Enditem
