HONG KONG, Dec. 27 (Xinhua) -- Hong Kong's Center for Health Protection (CHP) reported 70 additional confirmed cases of COVID-19 on Sunday, taking its total tally to 8,610.
The new cases included 69 local infections, with 23 of them untraceable, according to a CHP press briefing.
Hong Kong's Hospital Authority said 901 COVID-19 patients are being treated in public hospitals and the community treatment facility at AsiaWorld-Expo, including 55 in critical condition. Enditem
