PARIS, Dec. 20 (Xinhua) -- Lille reclaimed the top spot of the Ligue 1 standings after drawing against Paris Saint-Germain 0-0 at home on Sunday.
Christophe Galtier's side was ahead of Lyon, who defeated Nice 4-1 on Saturday, on goal difference, while PSG was at the third with one point behind. Last year's runner-up Marseille was in the fourth with five points off the leader, but with two matches in hand.
The defending champion was playing without Brazilian striker Neymar, who injured his ankle in PSG's last-week defeat to Lyon, and another frontline Ace Kylian Mbappe, who was celebrating his 22nd birthday, was put in the bench by head coach Thomas Tuchel and was fielded just 13 minutes from time.
"We were missing a lot of players who are usually decisive for us," Tuchel said. "But we did very well and controlled their counterattacks."
The visitor enjoyed the lion's share of the ball possession, which up to 70 percent, but just managed eight shots with only one on target, even not as good as its rival who made three on target from the same attempts.

Presnel Kimpembe appeared to injure his hamstring and limp off in the closing stage, followed by Alessandro Florenzi and Layvin Kurzawa were also substituted due to seemingly injuries.
Also on Sunday, early league frontrunner Rennes returned to the top five with a comfortable 3-0 win over promotor Lorient.
Damien Da Silva opened the scoring for Rennes in the 23rd minute before Benjamin Bourigeaud and Martin Terrier added two in the second half.
