MADRID, Sept. 17 (Xinhua) -- Granada qualified for the third qualifying round of the Europa League with ease as they beat Albanian side Teuta 4-0 on Thursday.

The fact that the tie was decided with just one leg, rather than the traditional home and away format, meant the game was a potential banana skin for the Chinese-owned team making its first ever appearance in Europe, but Diego Martinez's side got off to a perfect start with two goals in 10 minutes.

Veteran striker Roberto Soldado put Granada ahead after just four minutes with a left-foot volley from Yangel Herrera's cross and the Spanish side's nerves were well and truly calmed six minutes later, when Kenedy doubled their lead.

The Brazilian won the ball and exchanged passes with Soldado before keeping his head with a calm finish.

Granada were clearly the better outfit and led by three goals on the half hour when Herrera produced a sharp finish following good control and a cross from Kenedy, who was able to push forward comfortably, and netted his second of the game in the first minute of the second half. The Venezuelan latched onto a long ball from the back and clipped his shot over the advancing keeper.

Granada dedicated the rest of the game to conserving energy ahead of their weekend La Liga game at home to Alaves, while the home side were reduced to 10 men in the 80th minute after Fabjan Beqja was sent off for two yellow cards.

The Spanish team will now entertain the winner of the game between Locomotive Tbilisi and Dinamo Moskva next week in the penultimate qualifying round. Enditem
