Russian Foreign Ministry called on all Bolivians to restore state institutions and to ensure the rights of all citizens.

MOSCOW, Nov. 11 (Xinhua) -- Russia on Monday urged all political forces in Bolivia to find a constitutional way out of crisis following weeks of unrest that culminated in the resignation of President Evo Morales.

In a statement, it called on all Bolivians to restore state institutions and to ensure the rights of all citizens.

"We hope that this kind of responsible approach will be demonstrated by all members of the world community," the Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement.

The ministry expressed deep concern that during the internal political crisis in Bolivia the "willingness of the government to search for constructive solutions based on dialogue was swept away by the development of events along patterns of a staged coup d'etat."

Morales, whose re-election victory triggered weeks of protests amid fraud allegations, announced his resignation on Sunday after the military demanded his departure.
