SALVADOR, Brazil, June 16 (Xinhua) -- Brazil captain Daniel Alves has declined to reveal where he will play next season amid mounting speculation that he will leave Paris Saint-Germain.

Alves is out of contract with the Ligue 1 club and the 36-year-old has been linked with a move to England amid reported interest from Manchester United, Manchester City and Chelsea.

In a press conference while on Copa America duty for Brazil on Sunday, Alves ruled out the prospect of retirement, saying he still has unfinished business in European football.

"I decided when I started my career and I will decide when it ends, and it will not necessarily be football that will send me back home," Alves said.

"At the right time I will decide and I hope that until then I can conquer many things."

For now, Alves is focused on helping Brazil win the Copa America for the first time since 1989. The hosts began the tournament with a 3-0 victory over Bolivia on Friday and will face Venezuela here in their next match on Tuesday.

"We have a mission and there can be no distractions. Later we will look at all the possible options and see," Alves said. "I can only say that I'm not afraid of challenges."
