SINGAPORE, April 26 (Xinhua) -- Singapore stocks closed higher on Friday, with the benchmark Straits Times Index (STI) going up 0.2 percent, or 6.67 points, to close at 3,356.95.
A total of 951.06 million shares changed hands with a turnover of 1.04 billion Singapore dollars (about 763.30 million U.S. dollars). Gainers outnumbered losers by 195 to 191.
The STI index went down 0.36 percent, or 12.15 points, to close at 3,350.28 Thursday.
