BEIJING, April 3 (Xinhua) -- Domestic film "Song of Youth" was the highest grossing film on the Chinese mainland market on Tuesday, according to China Movie Data Information Network on Wednesday.
The film, a drama set in a Chinese campus in the 1980s, grossed more than 12.3 million yuan (1.83 million U.S. dollars).
It was followed by "Mirage," a Spanish thriller, which earned 8.5 million yuan.
Coming in third was the Chinese romantic drama "More Than Blue," taking in 5.1 million yuan.
