LJUBLJANA, March 22 (Xinhua) -- In an effort to boost agritourism, Slovenia on Wednesday launched a refurbished catalogue of farm stays in the country in six languages, Slovenian Press Agency (STA) reported.
The new catalogue in six languages of Slovenian, English, German, Italian, French and Croatian was presented at Wednesday's meeting of the Association of Slovenian Farmstays in the northeastern town of Sentilj.
The catalogue gives an introduction to more than 130 farms that offer accommodation as well as various other activities and home-made products.
Slovenia boasts more than 400 farmstays and many of them adhere to the latest trends in tourism by developing innovative products such as sleeping at hay barns in the Logarska dolina valley or a forest in Cerkno, according to the STA report.
