WASHINGTON, Jan. 11 (Xinhua) -- U.S. President-elect Donald Trump on Wednesday pledged to impose "a major border tax" on companies that move production overseas and sell goods back to the United States.
"When you want to move your plant to Mexico or some other place, and you want to fire all of your workers from Michigan and Ohio and all these places that I won, for good reason, it's not going to happen that way anymore," Trump said at his first press conference in New York since winning the presidential election in November. Trump says he thinks Russia behind election hacking
WASHINGTON, Jan. 11 (Xinhua) -- U.S. President-elect Donald Trump said on Wednesday that "I think it was Russia" behind the cyberattacks targetting the 2016 U.S. presidential election.
"As far as hacking, I think it was Russia," said Trump at his first press conference in New York since winning the election in November.
"He (Russian President Vladimir Putin) shouldn't be doing it. He won't be doing it," said Trump. "Russia will have much greater respect for our country when I'm leading than when other people have led it." Full story
