KIEV, Sept. 26 (Xinhua) -- Ukraine has received the first tranche of 1.32 billion U.S. dollars raised during its recent Eurobond sale, the country's Finance Ministry said on Tuesday.

The funds, which were transferred to the account of the Ukrainian Treasury, will be used to finance the general fund of the state budget, the ministry said in a statement.

According to local analysts, the money would help Ukraine to serve its state debt.

Last week, Ukraine successfully raised 3 billion dollars by issuing 15-year Eurobonds with a yield rate of 7.375 percent. It was the country's first borrowing on international capital markets since 2013.
