Photo taken on July 9, 2017 shows a part of the Purog Kangri glacier in Nagqu, southwest China's Tibet Autonomous Region. With an area of about 400 square kilometers, the Purog Kangri glacier is melting at accelerated rate, which has caused the formation of plenty of rivers and lakes, according to a researcher of Chinese Academy of Sciences.(Xinhua/Liu Dongjun)
