Wang, 67 years old, began to learn the handicraft of making ancient boat since he was 13 years old and the craft has been passed down in his family for more than 100 years. Due to the complication of the craft, it costs him about one year to make an five-meter-long ancient boat. The boats he made have been collected by museums in Taiwan and also been used during folk custom activities. (Xinhua/Liu Junxi)
