HANOI, May 16 (Xinhua) -- Vietnam's longest painting road is scheduled to be completed on May 28, according to the capital Hanoi's authority on Tuesday.
The 730-meter-long painting road will be made of 365 pieces, representing children's 365 days of happiness throughout the year and will be on display in Hanoi's walking streets at the famous Old Quarter.
The art work is part of activities to celebrate the first "Children's Cultural Festival 2017" slated in the end of May, 2017 and will last during summer days in June, the organizers announced.
The festival also consists of a running competition with participation of 400 children and a music concert themed "Children Today -- The world Tomorrow", besides many others, in hope to create fruitful playgrounds for the city's children.
