TIRANA, March 22 (Xinhua) -- Two officers were wounded Wednesday in an explosion at a military ward in Albania's coastal town of Porto Romano, local media reported.
Reports quoting a statement of Albania's General Staff of the Armed Forces said an explosion took place while the military personnel were cleaning the territory.
It was reported that the two people set fire to the bushes, in order to to clean the courtyard of the military ward, but a shell exploded as a consequence.
One of the sergeants of the Air Force was injured at the hand and leg, and he was immediately taken to hospital. Moreover, a civil employee of Albcontrol suffered light wounds, the report said.
