SEOUL, March 21 (Xinhua) -- Seoul shares ended higher on Tuesday.
The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index (KOSPI) rose 21.37 points, or 0.99 percent, to settle at 2,178.38. Trading volume stood at 299 million shares worth 5.4 trillion won (4.8 billion U.S. dollars).
South Korea's currency finished at 1,120.3 won against the greenback, down 0.2 won from the previous close.
