MUMBAI, March 8 (Xinhua) -- The Indian stock market opened flat on Wednesday as investors maintained cautious ahead of the coming result of the assembly elections that will end in Uttar Pradesh later in the day.
The benchmark S&P BSE Sensex opened at 28,978.84, 20.72 points or 0.08 percent down from the previous close at 28,999.56.
