PARIS, Feb. 28 (Xinhua) -- Seeking to bolster innovative schemes, French leading auto manufacturer PSA on Tuesday announced its partnership with Le Village by CA, a value-creating incubator for innovative start-ups, SMEs and large groups.

Through its Business Lab created by the end of 2016 to "promote interactions with innovative ecosystems," the French group joined Le Village's partner network as part of establishing its opportunity detection measures," it said in a press released.

Under the partnership, PSA "will take advantage of the innovation dynamic of start-ups and partners in Le Village," in addition, "to experiment with new opportunities, including with the PSA Group's intrapreneurs."

"This partnership is a result of the PSA Group's desire to develop and transform interactions with young businesses in order to offer new mobility experiences to our customers. Le Village will also enable us to acclimatize our teams while increasing the scope of communication with start-ups on specific projects that match our areas of interest," said Anne Laliron, Business Lab director.

For his turn, Fabrice Marsella, mayor of Le Village by CA Paris, noted that "large companies need the innovation provided by start-ups to remain competitive, and start-ups themselves need large groups in order to develop their businesses."

"The PSA group provides a large-scale testing and development ground for Le Village start-ups," he added.
