KIEV, Jan. 25 (Xinhua) -- The State Administration of Kiev said on Wednesday it was in talks with Chinese construction firm China Road and Bridge Corporation (CRBC) over the implementation of major infrastructure projects in the capital of Ukraine.

"The team of the CRBC shows a very professional job performance. The city will take the decision on the projects based on the feasibility study, which the company will perform at its own expense," Illya Sagaidak, a deputy head of Kiev City State Administration, wrote on Facebook.

According to Sagaidak, the two sides are considering a possibility to build a ring-road around Kiev, a traffic intersection in the center of the city, and a 37-km-long road connecting the capital with its suburb of Brovary.

The estimated value of the three projects is about 1.5 billion U.S. dollars.

A group of engineers, designers and other infrastructure professionals from China will head for Kiev next month to start the preparatory works on the proposed projects. Enditem
