Singapore condemns bomb attack in Afghanistan

SINGAPORE, Jan. 11 (Xinhua) -- Singapore Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemns the bomb attack in Kandahar, Afghanistan on Jan. 10 which claimed many lives, including five United Arab Emirates' diplomats, said the ministry in a statement on Wednesday.

The ministry said there can be no justification for such a despicable act, particularly against diplomats who were on a humanitarian mission.

The ministry offered condolences to the victims and wish those injured a speedy recovery.

The twin bombings near Afghanistan's parliament has killed 57 people and wounded many in the country's capital Kabul as of Wednesday evening.
