HELSINKI, Jan. 9 (Xinhua) -- Two people were killed in a severe road accident in southeastern Finland on Monday.
The accident took place in north of the town of Kotka. A private car first hit another private car and then drifted to the opposite lane and collided with a heavy duty truck.
Two of the three people in one of the private cars were killed. Local police said the road was slippery when the accident happened.
Following the heavy snow last week, temperature rose to zero level in southern Finland on Monday and made the roads icy. Enditem
