SINGAPORE, Dec. 9 (Xinhua) -- Singapore stocks finished lower on Friday, with the benchmark Straits Times Index (STI) down 2.73 points, or 0.09 percent, to close at 2,956.13.
A total of 1.81 billion shares changed hands with turnover of 1.14 billion Singapore dollars (801 million U.S. dollars).
Gainers equate to decliners at 203, while 696 others finished unchanged.
