NEW YORK, Nov.13 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake measuring 6.2 on the Richter scale jolted 12km N of Kaikoura, New Zealand at 13:31:26 GMT on Sunday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 8.29 km, was initially determined to be at 42.2914 degrees south latitude and 173.6933 degrees east longitude. Enditem
