TEHRAN, Oct. 18 (Xinhua) -- Visiting Deputy Managing Director of Maersk said on Tuesday that the Danish business conglomerate, Maersk Group, is ready to engage in Iran's oil industry, according to Iran's semi-official Fars news agency.
"We are ready for cooperation with Iranian companies to promote Iranian oil industry upstream sector," Paul Munk Andersen was quoted as saying by Fars.
He added that Iran can use advanced technology to benefit from its oil and gas resources and improve recovery, during the second Iranian Energy and Petroleum Club Congress and Exhibition (IEPC-2016) currently underway in Tehran.
Martin Beckman, board member from the German Wintershall Co. management board, had previously said that Iran is in dire need of investment and technology for its Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR), and that efforts should be directed toward promoting the industry in Iran, said the report. Enditem
