BANGKOK, Aug. 3 (Xinhua) -- A drug gang was busted Wednesday in Bangkok with over 560,000 methamphetamines for sales seized.
Thai Narcotic Suppression Bureau police arrested three suspects, identified as Piya Busamrong, 25, Nampol Sukchuang, 29, and Panunee Puengbamrung, 28, for the possession of 568,000 methamphetamine pills
According to the bureau commissioner Pol Lt Gen Rewat Klinkesorn, all are said to be members of the so-called Oros drug trafficking gang.
Police run the arrest after they received a tipoff that the Oros gang was going to make their drug delivery to a major dealer.
Plainclothes police were deployed to somewhere near the appointed place and successfully seized 2,000 speed pills from the trio.
Subsequent searches in their houses produced the remaining pills.
