Six missing after boat capsizes on Yangtze tributary

CHONGQING, July 29 (Xinhua) -- Six people went missing on Friday afternoon after their boat capsized on a tributary of the Yangtze River in southwest China's Chongqing Municipality.

The private boat capsized at about 5:40 p.m. in Wushan County where the Daning River meets the Yangtze.

Twelve people were on board, with six known to survive. The survivors said it was not raining when the boat capsized. The cause of the accident remains unknown, and rescue efforts are underway. Enditem
