CAS dismissed the appeal by the Russian Olympic Committee against the IAAF Thursday. GENEVA, July 19 (Xinhua) -- The International Olympic Committee (IOC) President Thomas Bach Tuesday said the IOC will not hesitate to take the toughest sanctions available against any individual or organization implicated in the doping scandal revealed by a report from the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA).

The Independent Person Report, contributed by Richard McLaren, a member of the WADA Commission, revealed Russia's government and sports governing bodies had engaged in doping of all 28 Olympic sports and covered up 312 positive tests.  Full story
