MUMBAI, July 18 (Xinhua) -- Indian stocks opened higher Monday as other Asian markets outside Japan saw steady opening.
The benchmark S&P BSE Sensex opened at 27,920.66, 84.16 points or 0.30 percent up from previous close of 27,836.50.
