WASHINGTON, June 8 (Xinhua) -- U.S. Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton won the primary in the state of California on Wednesday.
The former secretary of state has secured the Democratic Party nomination earlier in the day, the last major date of the 2016 primary calendar, with six states holding polls.
