清華大學副校長謝維和

    1980年加入中國共産黨。教授、博士生導師，1982年7月在廈門大學哲學系獲得學士學位，1985年7月在南京大學哲學系獲得碩士學位，1988年在中國社會科學院研究生院哲學系獲得博士學位。現任首都師範大學黨委書記。教授。1968年後在江西省武寧縣水泥廠和江西化纖廠工作，其間，1977年至1978年在江西大學中文系新聞專業進修一年。1978年後在廈門大學和南京大學學習，獲學士和碩士學位。1985年在江西大學法律系工作。1986年至1988年在中國社會科學院研究生院學習，獲博士學位。1989年後在北京青年政治學院、北京青少年研究所工作。1992年至2002年任北京師範大學教授、博導、副校長。2002年5月後任首都師範大學教授、博導，黨委書記。現任清華大學副校長，兼任國家教育部普通高等學校教學工作評估專家委員會副主任、中國高等教育學會學術委員會委員、全國高等學校教學研究會副理事長、中國高等教育管理研究會副理事長、國家教育科學規劃評審委員會高等教育評審組副組長、世界銀行中國高等教育發展項目專家組成員、全國高校遠程教育協作組副組長。謝維和同志的研究領域涉及高等教育、教育學、教育社會學等多門學科，曾多次承擔國家級、省部級研究項目。在《教育研究》、《高等教育研究》等雜誌發表論文幾十篇，並參與或主持了世界銀行、教育部的重要合作研究項目，多次參與教育部組織的重要政策法規的研討和制定，參與專業、學科的調整與規劃工作。

    Professor and Vice-President, Tsinghua University

    Dr Xie Weihe has been Vice-President of Tsinghua University since 2004. He is also Vice-Director of the National Council of Higher Educational Management Research and Executive member of the China Education Association for International Exchange. His research interests include the principal of education, educational sociology and pedagogy of higher education. Professor Xie received his PhD degree in 1988 from the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences. Before his employment at Tsinghua University, he had worked in senior positions at the Beijing Youth Politics College, Beijing Normal University and Capital Normal University. Professor Xie has published widely and is often invited to talk at international conferences.
