BEIJING, June 14 (Xinhuanet) -- Graphite industry will help trigger industrial revival in northeast China, according to E Zhongqi, president of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade(Heilongjiang).
He made the remarks during a recent interview with Xinhuanet. He explained that "graphite represents the great potentials in new materials," adding the upcoming China Harbin International Economic and Trade Fair will bring an excellent opportunity to promote the development of the graphite industry.
"It (graphite) will play a vital role in the transformation of coal cities" and lead to the upgrading of traditional industries in the northeast China old industrial base, he stressed.
"A graphite-themed exhibition is specifically set up during this year’s trade fair,"he said, "to connect potential business partners from Russia and China."
Harbin will embrace the opening of both the 4th China▪International New Material Industry Expo and China Harbin International Economic and Trade Fair on June 15.
