COPENHAGEN, Nov. 18 (Xinhua) -- A Chinese technology startup has won the first prize of Denmark's Creative Business Cup Final 2017 with its innovative robot.

CellRobot, created by a team of Chinese robotics engineers, is the first complete consumer robotics kit that brings accessible robotics to users.

According to Yang Jianbo, the founder of the company behind the machine, CellRobot is made up of individual robotic units that are put together to form functional robots, just like the cells in our bodies working together to create life and function.

CellRobot has provided "an ingenious and easy-to-use way of combining problem solving, robotics, coding and education into a fun and interactive activity for schools and children," said a statement issued by the 12-member jury from 10 countries.

"The beauty of the products is that there are technically no rules on how to combine the elements and how to use it, and the only limit would be your own imagination," added the statement.

Genki Instruments, a wearable ring that allows musicians to interact with technology in a more natural and expressive way has won the second prize.

The third prize goes to Bildits, a miniature building construction kit for kids 12 years and above that introduces the real process of construction.

Creative Business Cup is the "world championship" for startup entrepreneurs within the creative businesses around the world. It is designed to find the world's best creative startups and the entrepreneurs, and support them with business development and international market access.

This year's event, now on its sixth edition, was held from Nov. 15 to 16 in Copenhagen, featuring international finalists from 59 countries.
