A: The CPC National Congress is the highest decision-making body of the Communist Party of China. It is held once every five years.

A: The CPC's Constitution was amended and adopted in 2012. According to the Constitution, the congress' main purposes are:
- To receive reports from the Central Committee and Central Commission for Discipline Inspection
- To discuss and decide on major questions concerning the Party
- To revise the Party Constitution
- To elect the next Central Committee and Central Commission for Discipline Inspection.
