BUDAPEST, Aug. 9 (Xinhua) -- The 25th edition of the Sziget festival, one of the largest music and cultural festivals of Europe, drawing hundreds of thousands of people, kicked off here on Wednesday, with U.S. pop star Pink hitting the floor on the opening night.

Besides many Hungarian performers, the international stage will represent many artists from around the globe, including some big names.

The show, including circus, magicians, theater, dancefloors and others will last until Aug. 16.

Last year, the festival broke all previous record and flashed a stunning turnout of 496,000 visitors.
