Villager Li Runsheng and his wife Yang Jinxiu do housework in Xiagaoping Village of Lanping Bai and Pumi Autonomous County, southwest China's Yunnan Province, May 22, 2017. Li and his family members planted garlic and were lift out of poverty last year. To aid in poverty relief and increase people's income, the village with a population of 147 people of Pumi ethnic group developed cultivation and breeding industry in recent years. Some people also went out and became migrant workers. Installation of solar street lamps and water heaters, rebuilding of roads and houses and construction of cultural activity room have been conducted.
