TOKYO, March 24 (Xinhua) -- The dollar traded around the 111 yen line in early deals in Tokyo on Friday, largely in line with levels seen overnight in New York.
As markets opened here, the dollar was quoted at 110.99-111.00 yen compared with 110.90-111.00 yen in New York and 111.23-25 yen at 5 p.m. Thursday in Tokyo.
The euro, meanwhile, fetched 1.0783-0784 and 119.68-72 yen against 1.0778-0788 dollars and 119.55-65 yen in New York and 1.0793-0795 dollars and 120.05-09 yen late Thursday afternoon in Tokyo.
